Join as a health worker

You cannot open this kind of account yourself, and that is deliberate.

A health worker account can open a patient's file, send a real case to a specialist, and read what the specialist writes back. Anybody who can create that account from a form can do those things to a stranger's health record.

So we make these accounts ourselves, after we know who you are and where you work. Tell us below, or find us in person. It takes a short conversation, not paperwork.

How it goes

Four steps. Usually a couple of days, faster if we can reach you by phone.

  1. You tell us who you are

    Your name, your facility, what you do there, and a number we can call. The form below, or a message, or in person.

  2. We check

    We confirm with your facility that you work there and in the role you named. If you hold a council or professional registration number, that makes it quicker.

  3. We create the account and you set your own password

    We never choose your password and we never keep one. You get a link and set it yourself.

  4. We walk you through the first case together

    A real patient, with us on the line. It takes about twenty minutes and it is the part that decides whether the platform is any use to you.

If you have one, it makes the check much faster.

Straight answers

  • Does it cost anything?No. Health workers do not pay to use BetaDocta, and we do not take a cut of anything you do.
  • What if my facility does not know about BetaDocta?That is fine and usual. Say so in the form and we will approach them ourselves rather than making you do it.
  • Can I try it before being verified?You can use everything a patient can: the symptom check, the danger signs, the hospital finder, the whole library. Only opening a patient's file and sending a case needs the verified account.
  • What happens to what I write here?It is kept to verify you and set up your account, and for nothing else. If we cannot verify you, we delete it.
