Typhoid comes from food and water that carry the germ. It is common where water is not clean.
Signs are high fever that climbs for days, headache, weakness, belly pain, and sometimes a rash.
Drink only treated or boiled water. Wash your hands with soap before eating and after the toilet.
Eat hot, freshly cooked food. Avoid food left open where flies land.
See a doctor early if fever lasts more than three days. Typhoid needs the right medicine, and skipping treatment can cause danger.
