Clean hands stop many sicknesses

Many illnesses spread through dirty hands: diarrhoea, typhoid, cholera, and colds.

Wash your hands with soap and clean water: before eating, before cooking, after the toilet, and after changing a baby.

Rub all parts — palms, back, between fingers, and nails — for as long as it takes to sing a short song.

If there is no soap, use ash and water, or an alcohol rub.

Teach children early. Clean hands are the cheapest medicine there is.
