Fever is a sign the body is fighting something. Stay calm and watch your child closely.
Give small, frequent sips of water or breast milk. Do not over-wrap the child.
You may give the correct dose of child paracetamol for comfort, follow the label by weight.
Get a malaria test the same day if the fever is high or lasts.
Go to hospital now if the child has fits, is very weak or floppy, breathes fast, will not feed, or has a stiff neck.
